Tea-Infused Berry Slushies

Summer's heat can be a real scorcher, but with these refreshing tea-infused berry slushies, you'll be able to beat the heat in style. This recipe is a perfect blend of tart and sweet, thanks to the tangy berries and the smooth, aromatic tea.

 

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 bags of TEALUXE Strawberry Sunrise Envelope Tea Bags
  • 2 cups of cold water
  • Juice of half a lemon (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons of white sugar (or to taste)
  • A handful of mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)

 

Instructions:

  1. Brew the tea: Steep the tea bags in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This will create a strong, concentrated tea flavour.
  2. Add the extras: Once the tea is brewed, remove the bags and stir in the lemon juice, honey, and mixed berries.Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
  3. Blend it up: Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. For a slushy consistency, add a few ice cubes.
  4. Serve: Pour the slushy into glasses and enjoy immediately. 

 

 

Tips:

  • Experiment with flavours: Try different tea blends or add other fruits to customise the taste.
  • Make ahead: Prepare the slushy mixture in advance and store it in the freezer. When ready to serve, blend it with a few ice cubes.
  • For a healthier option: Use natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup instead of sugar.
